Meet your Neighbor: Michael Bugary’s journey
PIERPONT TOWNSHIP – Michael Bugary was born and raised in Monterey, California. He has one younger sister and two older brothers. Bugary currently resides in Pierpont Township. Here is Burgary’s story, or rather his journey.

ANDOVER – Pymatuning Valley preschooler Bella Noble, who was medically withdrawn from school earlier this year due to cancer treatments, returned to class last week under the care of Melissa Peyton.
“The first two days were rough,” said Colleen Olson, Bella’s foster mother.

Michael Bugary is a former Division I professional athlete. He played baseball for the University of California, Berkeley, and for the Boston Red Sox organization on their Minor League affiliate. After suffering a career ending arm injury, just before playing in the Major League, Michael fell into depression and developed an opioid addiction. Several years later he was diagnosed with brain cancer. Overcoming these adversities has inspired Michael to share his story in hopes of helping others.
